On December 14, 1994, while working in a frigid ditch installing an underground electrical conduit, Patrick Hughes envisioned a better way to serve customers and employees. The next day, he founded "The Hughes Electric Company" to create a superior experience for all involved. As the company quickly expanded, it evolved into "PJ Hughes Electric Inc." in 1997. Emphasizing specialized and innovative electrical contracting, it was a natural step to branch into home and small business generator installation and services, further enhancing our commitment to excellence.
